Antaira MSC-204A1 PCI Express Board with 4 RS-232 Powered Ports

The MSC-204A1, manufactured by Antaira Technologies, is an RS-232 PCI Express (PCIe) interface card that adds 4 ports of serial communication to industrial computers, rack mount servers and desktops.  It may function as a client or server to connect older serial based equipment like point-of-sale devices, scanners, card readers and instruments.   It has a DB-44 female front panel connector that cables to four DB-9 connectors.  The DB-9s offer power pins to supply 5V and 12V. 

The MSC-204A1 hosts the Oxford Semiconductor single-chip PCIe interface which offers increased throughput and low CPU utilization.  It’s ideal for demanding communication projects that require high performance and bandwidth.
