This is a switch intended to bring powerful and reliable connectivity to regions of an operation that represent unique challenges. The small form factor is 40% less obtrusive than its LNP-0500G predecessor. All 5 ports are Gigabit (10/100/1000TX) rated, and the 4 PoE ports meet the IEEE 802.3af/at specification. This guarantees a stable supply of 30 watts per port, making this device a lynchpin for cutting cable costs and enabling simple deployment of niche devices.
Reliability takes on new meaning when you analyze the durable design of the LNP-C500G. Its standard operating temperature ranges from below freezing to heats above human tolerance. The durable case and power supply are designed to resist large voltage spikes and surges, and the reverse polarity and overload current protection complete the robust defenses.
