The LNP-0602 has 6 ports that serve a number of functions. The first 4 are Power of Ethernet Plus (PoE+) 10/100TX ports that are perfect for extending a network or incorporating power-dependent devices. The other 2 ports are 100Fx fiber ports that can run long cables and handle extreme data.
These options are built around a package of stability. The extended temperature model can handle temperatures well below freezing and far above natural air temperatures. The DIN mount, redundant power, point-break relay and heavy surge protection all ensure that the switch can handle the worst of industrial environments without breaking a sweat. Putting all of this in an unmanaged switch means it can easily be added to any network. Or, it can be a central part of a new network.
