The rugged LNX-0702G-SFP is a 7-port unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch offering extra performance and durability an industrial network requires. The LNX-0702G-SFP provides 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports plus 2 SFP slots for fiber optic connectivity. These high-speed Gigabit ports are ideal for bandwidth and performance critical applications.
To compensate for unreliable power, the switch offers redundant 48V input power terminals and protection from reverse polarity, voltage spikes and current overload. It completely meets industrial safety and electrical standards. With a rugged, DIN-rail aluminum case and hardened electronics, it will operate in temperatures as low as -10° C and as high as 70° C. For extreme heat and cold, select the extended temperature version (LNX-0702G-SFP-T) for -40° to 75° C operation.
In the event of a power outage or port failure, the built-in relay may notify the system or on-call technician. This feature saves valuable downtime by helping to troubleshoot the exact point of failure. Broadcast storm protection blocks continuous multicast or broadcast traffic which can slow the network. This type of traffic will be ignored until the rate decreases to a set threshold.
