For this reason, engineers rely on Antaira for their Ethernet needs. The LMX-0800 managed Ethernet switch meets the highest standards in the industry. It features 8 fast Ethernet ports (10/100TX) and Layer 2 management software. It offers remote configuration and monitoring of the network, and includes Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS) redundancy to ensure recovery and minimal downtime should a network segment go down. Protocols such as QoS, CoS, SNMP, IGMP, VLAN, and IEE802.1Q improve determinism, security, and efficiency. Other management features included event alarming and handling and configuration backup. An industrial switch must withstand harsh factory floor conditions and outdoor environments. The LMX-0800 has a protective metal, IP30 rated enclosure which may be DIN-rail or wall mounted. The standard operating temperature is from -10°C to 70°C. But for hot and cold extremes, choose the optional extended temperature model, LMX-0800-T. Steady, safe power is always a requirement in heavy industrial applications. That’s why you get protection from voltage spikes and overloaded current and provisions for redundant 48V input. Naturally, this switch meets FCC, CE, IEC, and IEEE electric and safety certifications. The LMX-0800 or LMX-0800-T Ethernet switch includes documentation on CD-ROM, power cable with 18 AWG leads and DC jack, serial console cable (RJ45 to DB9), and DIN-rail and wall mounting hardware.
