The Taoglas AA.171 (MagmaX) is a GNSS magnetic mount external antenna with low axial ratio. It is ideal for robust, covert installations where durability and small size is necessary. It is used in telematics and M2M applications such as vehicle installations for fleet management. It comes with a 3 meter, standard RG-174 cable and SMA(M) connector. Using a unique feed structure this antenna delivers low axial ratio levels across all GPS, Glonass, Galileo and BeiDou bands. Low axial ratio improves the accuracy of GNSS system location leading to quick lock times. A front-end SAW reduces out-band interference from any nearby wireless transmitters, helping prevent LNA compression and burnout. The AA.171 is manufactured in a TS16949 facility.
