Semtech AirLink ES450 4G LTE Enterprise Gateway

The ES450 by Semtech (Sierra Wireless) is a reliable, secure 4G LTE gateway designed to deliver primary and failover connectivity, ensuring critical network equipment like point-of-sale (POS), inventory scanners, and VoIP phones are always connected to the Internet. With state-of-the-art global LTE coverage, the ES450 and AirVantage Management Service offer a complete solution for deploying an enterprise LTE connectivity solution quickly and seamlessly.

The AirLink ES450 enterprise gateway delivers mission-critical LTE connectivity either as a primary broadband connection or as a secondary solution with automatic failover should the landline fail. It’s ideal for keeping retail, restaurants, pop-up stores, kiosks, and digital signage operating continuously.

In addition to broadband connectivity, the ES450 also provides a terminal server on the router’s console port for remote out-of-band management (OOBM). This feature enables IT administrators to remotely connect to network equipment for diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair. Personnel no longer need to visit a location to reset equipment manually.

The ES450 is loaded with security features such as concurrent VPN sessions, remote authentication management, RADIUS and TACACS+, port filtering, trusted IP protection, and authorized access. The ES450 is compliant with PCI standards required by payment systems.

ES450 Services and Support

AirLink network management solutions for the ES3450 include remote monitoring, registration, configuration, security enhancements, and free unlimited software updates. These cloud-based services provide a remote, centralized view of your fielded routers. A 3-year manufacturer’s warranty is included.

AirLink Complete AirLink Management Service (ALMS) is a secure cloud-based device management system supporting over-the-air registration, configuration, and software updates. ALMS Advanced Reporting and Analytics (ALMS ARA) offers advanced historical reporting and deep data insights. Device Management AirLink Complete is a subscription-based service that combines best-in-class device management software through ALMS, technical support, and an extended warranty option. It delivers a cost-effective way to ensure your mission-critical infrastructure operates at peak efficiency. AirLink Complete is included free for one year with the purchase of a new ES450.
