The TKIT-ETH-M and TKIT-ETH-S Fiber Extender Kits from Patton Electronics consist of a pair of fiber extenders supporting the transparent extension of Gigabit Ethernet. The link will extend the usable distance from the standard 100 meters (328 feet) to 1.2 miles (2 km) over multi-mode fiber and up to 12.4 miles (20 km) or over single-mode fiber while maintaining near-zero latency. The kit includes two TD6010 modules preconfigured with SFPs to provide one RJ45 port and one LC fiber optic port.
