The PR-NXD-W is a low-profile omnidirectional Passenger Rail Antenna that provides 4x4 MIMO WiFi. It meets rail industry standards NFPA-130 fire safety requirements. It provides four separate WiFi antenna elements in a small, heavy-duty radome.

Each antenna element covers 2.4 - 2.5 & 4.9 -6.0 GHz. This provides true 4x4 MIMO for efficient data throughput. It is for WiFi-6 modems that require 4x4 MIMO. In addition, it is also backward compatible with earlier generations. Common applications for this antenna include: Passenger Rail, Installations Requiring NFPA-130 Compliance, and Onboard Passenger Rail WiFi.

The PR-NXD-W measures 3.52” (8.94 cm) in diameter and 0.625” (1.56 cm) in height. The low-profile nature of the antenna makes it virtually vandal-proof.

This rugged antenna is ground plane independent, therefore it can mount on non-metallic enclosures. If rail industry standards are not required see the NXD-W antenna.
