The EDX450 antenna covers frequency ranges between 406 - 512 MHz and 2.5 dBd gain. It is rated at 250 watts and is available in either 1/4 wave or 1/2 wave configurations.
The radiating elements are copper & copper alloy. It has an ultraviolet inhibited black anodized aluminum radome and the heavy wall aluminum mounting sleeve is epoxy coated for superior weather protection. This antenna is lightweight at 3 lbs. but can easily withstand winds of 150 MPH.
The EDX450 easily mounts on a 1.9″ diameter (aluminum Schedule 40) mast, which is not supplied.
