The MXF508 MaxFin multi-antenna includes two 5G LTE, two WiFi 6E, and GPS elements integrated into a single, rugged radome. It moves massive amounts of cellular information while simultaneously connecting to a wireless LAN network. High-performance and reliability make it ideal for vehicle fleets, traffic and transportation, surveillance, and critical communication infrastructure.
The MIMO 4G and 5G LTE antennas cover frequencies from 617 to 6000 MHz and support worldwide cellular bands. It is compatible with CBRS (Citizen Band Radio Service) at 3.55 to 3.7 GHz and Band 71 at from 617 to 698 MHz. The dual-band MIMO WiFi 6E antennas offer coverage over the 2.4 - 2.5 GHz and 4.9 - 7.2 GHz frequency ranges. The global positioning element operates on GPS at 1575 MHz.
The MXF508 is compatible with NextGen 5G Cellular Mobile Routers that are designed for high speed, large data transfers using 5G, but is also backwards compatible for 4G LTE systems. This compact antenna measures 7.50” long, 2.50” tall and only 2.25” wide. Its slim form factor is particularly well suited for Police Vehicles because the antenna fits neatly between the roof ribs on a Ford Explorer or Interceptor. It has also been very well received in settings where a sleek, aerodynamic profile is preferred such as a fleet of passenger vehicles or vans.
The MXF508 is practically indestructible. IP67 and MIL-STD-810G certified, the ABS housing can take extreme temperatures, shock, vibration, water, and dust. A hollow bolt, with five cables passing through, mounts to outdoor cabinets or vehicle tops. A gasket seals the bottom from water and contaminant ingress. The MXF508 is an excellent antenna for the next generation of 5G LTE wireless networks, offering ultra-fast bandwidth. Pair it with a cellular modem or router like the Cradlepoint IBR600C.
