The MaxFin MXF-450 surface mount antenna offers omnidirectional UHF coverage in a rugged, low-profile dome. It operates from 440 to 470 MHz with 2 dB gain. The sleek ASA UV-inhibitive plastic housing withstands weather and harsh environments. The MXF-450 includes a single 15-foot cable with an SMA plug connector. It has a narrow width that enables it to mount between the roof ribs of a Ford Explorer, Ford Interceptor, and other vehicles. This feature eliminates the need for an adapter plate, which other competing vehicle antennas typically require.

The MXF-450 antenna is ideal for fleet management, public safety vehicles, emergency service vehicles, land mobile radio (LMR), and TETRA.
