Featuring a rugged design, secure connections, and easy to manage capabilities, the InRouter615-S (IR615) LTE router is ideal for retail, commercial and industrial systems. The IR615 provides efficient cellular connectivity for Machine to Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. It integrates 4G LTE, Ethernet, WiFi, advanced firewall security, reliable VPN technology, and remote management tools. And, it’s all packaged together for a very affordable price.
A stable connection is essential for remote, unattended systems. Unreliable networks and faults result in downtime, cost, and on-site maintenance. With an embedded hardware watchdog timer, multi-layer link detection, automatic recovery, and reboot, the IR615 maintains a high level of availability and uptime. It provides uninterrupted communication by automatically switching to a backup link if the primary link fails.
The IR615 is very easy to manage. Utilizing CLI, a web interface, and the InHand Device Manager Cloud platform for batch configuration and monitoring, it offers complete deployment and management tools for large-scale dispersed operations. The InHand Device Touch Cloud allows IT staff to conduct remote diagnostics, debugging, fault analysis, and programming. Of course, this LTE router includes a comprehensive VPN, firewall provisions, and security to protect data and thwart unauthorized access.
The IR615 is built from high-grade electronic components and hardened against extreme conditions common in heavy industrial locations. The fanless metal enclosure offers a wide operating temperature range from -20 to 70°C. The IR615 meets industrial specifications and protects against power surge, EMC, RFI, ESD, shock, and vibration. Along with a SIM slot, the IR615 includes a 1.5kV isolated RS-232 or RS-485 serial port and 5 Fast Ethernet ports. DIN-rail and wall mounting allows it to be installed into machines, control panels, and industrial cabinets.
Enable your IR615-S with a cost-effective monthly data plan to ensure your router is ready to deploy. Select Verizon, T-Mobile, or AT&T, and the data plan size from 100 MB to Unlimited GB. You are billed monthly; there’s no long-term contract. Plus, manage all of your fielded gateways from a single cloud-based web portal.

The InHand IR615-S has 2x SMA and 2X RP-SMA antenna connectors. For mobile and industrial applications, check the Accessories tab above for high-performance antennas. Many come with low-loss RF cables and mounting brackets, allowing you to position the antenna for the best reception.
