The AER1600 advanced LTE edge router from Ericsson Cradlepoint, along with Ericsson's NetCloud Essentials package, offers enterprise-class wireless communication to small and mid-sized businesses with limited IT resources. It’s ideal for branch offices, pop-up retailers, and kiosks. These types of business applications rely on the AER1600 Netcloud branch solution to provide reliable 24x7 Gigabit-Class LTE performance to meet increasing communication needs.

The AER1600 offers flexible wired and wireless WAN deployment options. It comes equipped with an embedded Cat 4 (150 Mbps) or Cat 6 (300 Mbps) Advanced Pro LTE modem. It can be easily upgraded to Cat 18 Gigabit-Class speeds (1200 Mbps) with the installation of the MC400 Advanced Pro modem. The AER1600 is dual-modem capable. A second modem offers continuous connectivity, failover, and support for two wireless carriers. The router also includes advanced WiFi (simultaneous dual-band, IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), 2x2 MIMO antennas, 5 Gigabit LAN and WAN ports, and active GPS.

NetCloud Branch Package

The NetCloud Branch Essentials package improves productivity, management, and security. It is a service platform that administers the AER1600 and its network from the cloud, making wireless WAN set up painless. From a secure web browser, you can monitor, visualize, control, and troubleshoot your network and connected routers. NetCloud provides routing functions, security, and control of the LTE and WiFi interfaces. It dramatically simplifies branch networking, offering simple “zero-touch” deployment, and it optimizes your cellular connection for reliable and efficient communication.

The AER1600 is sold in a complete NetCloud Solution Package for Branch Networks, which includes cloud management, 24x7 support, and a Limited Lifetime Warranty. It’s offered in a one, three, or five-year subscription plan. The NetCloud Advanced option adds features such as data traffic analytics, firewall, and URL content filtering.
