The ICD100A DIN rail converter suppresses surges on RS-422/ 485 lines as it optically isolates and converts unbalanced full- or half-duplex RS-232 to optically isolated balanced full- or half-duplex RS-422 or RS-485. Convert async RS232 to RS422/485 at speeds up to 19.2 kbps with distances up to 4000 ft over CATx cables. This device is great for connecting RS232 devices into an existing RS422/485 environment in factory automation, building automation, and process automation. It can be mounted using DIN Rail and can withstand operating temperatures of -40 to +176° F (-40 to 80-40 to +176°C).
