It starts with the Intel Atom E3815. The hyper-efficient processor, backed by 4GB of DDR3L memory can reliably handle large data loads without spiking power consumption. The CompactFlash and SSD storage expand on that efficiency. To further save resources, the 2 isolated Gigabit Ethernet ports and optional 3G/GPRS wireless enable the ICO300-MI to unload more cumbersome processing tasks to remote servers.

The DIN-rail or wall mount will stabilize the computer against heavy vibrations common to industrial workplaces. The heavy-duty housing is protected against large shocks and is rated for safe operation in extreme temperatures. The RTC battery support keeps the gateway working even when the main system goes down.  And, all of it is supported with an optional 5-year warranty.
