The first thing to know about the tBOX322-882 is that it is EN50155 and EN50121 certified. It handles the vibrations, shocks, electromagnetic conditions and power supply requirements necessary for operating on a train. It passes regulatory standards and is compliant with European fire testing. This computer operates nominally at extremely high and low temperatures. The M12 connections keep out dust and ensure that every port withstands high-vibration conditions. And, isolated digital and serial ports add extra reliability.
It is difficult to make such a rugged computer so powerful, but the tBOX322-882 comes with a choice of 4th generation Intel Core processors. It supports 4GB or 8GB of high-performance DDR3L memory. PCI Express Mini slots and SIM slots make for expandable operations and the lockable 2.4” SATA HDD interfaces at SATA 3 speeds. Dual Ethernet, serial and USB 3.0 are available. This computer is outfitted for critical applications that include train management, onboard controls, security surveillance, and stock environments.
