Resourcefulness is an invaluable skill in networking. And when you need to provide fast, reliable signaling to large areas, your wits will be tested. Often, the best option is to make use of existing cabling, even if that wasn’t its original purpose. Enter Antaira Technology’s EVC-3010. This compact device converts signals between Ethernet and coaxial cables. For a minimal price, you can put miles of existing cable lines to work.
This extender employs simplicity. The single BNC connector accesses the cable lines, and the single Fast Ethernet port feeds to any IP camera, switch, router or other device in need. The cable connection operates with 50 ohm or 75 ohm cables at a distance up to 3 km. It fully converts between digital and analog signals eliminating the need for extra devices that increase costs and signal delays. It is a standalone receiver enabling simple bridging. And, the DIP switch allows easy changes between CO or CPE modes. Altogether, these features allow for the fastest coaxial data speeds possible without a complete rewiring.
As is often associated with the Antaira brand, the EVC-3010 is built for network stability. The small design makes for easy deployment in virtually any setting. It is self-powered, increasing signal integrity and affording surge protection. Extensive diagnostic indicators are supported via LED signals. The whole package is backed by a competitive 2-year warranty.
Repurposing existing infrastructure to extend your network isn’t just the best solution; it is often the only solution. The EVC-3010 is small and affordable, allowing it to be a primary access provider at multiple locations without blowing your budget. Talk to one of our expert associates today. We’ll discuss the full scope of your networking needs and help you select a precise equipment package that is geared to optimize deployment resources while we help you save money on equipment.
