This SPF-10G-C is widely used in data centers and enterprise networks when a copper cable needs to plug into an available SFP slot.  It supports 10GBase-T transmissions up to 30 meters over a standard CAT 6a/7 cable.  And, it’s backward compatible with Gigabit transmissions using up to 100 meters with CAT 5e cable. The SFP consumes little power and works with Ethernet switches from a variety of manufacturers. A metal, hot-pluggable package shields against electromagnetic interference (EMI).  It complies with IEEE 802.3az, SFF-8431, and SFF-8432 MSA standards. As expected, it includes Antaira’s industry-leading 5-year warranty.
