The MSC-104A1 from Antaira is a high-performance PCI serial I/O interface providing four ports of RS-232. Based on the 16C950 UART, it adds extra serial ports to your home computer, industrial server or workstation. It’s ideal for connecting legacy serial-based equipment like printers, card readers, instruments, meters and more. The MSC-104A1 features a large 128-byte FIFO and high baud rate. The DB-44 front panel connector breaks out to four DB-9 connectors using a conversion cable. This card is fully PCI plug-and-play compatible and has proper IRQ and I/O addressing to work with current and older Windows operating systems.
The PCI plug-and-play software installs easily following the wizard found on the CD. The wizard recognizes the board and automatically installs the device driver software. You’ll be up and running in minutes.
