A combo port is a pair of ports that may be enabled as a Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000TX copper RJ45 or dual-rate 100/1000 fiber SFP. Only one port of the combo pair may be used at a time. This choice helps meet unique application requirements. It is important to remember that a combo port shares the same internal switch fabric and the same port name.

Among the many features, the LNX-0802C-SFP also enhances safety and reliability of your network. It offers high surge, electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electromagnetic (EMI) protection along with reverse polarity and unregulated voltage protection.

With the built-in alarm relay, the switch will automatically notify engineers of possible power outages or port failures. This feature is important as it provides quick troubleshooting and less downtime. The metal IP30 rated case and rugged electronics allows the LNX-0802C-SFP to be deployed in tough industrial environments. The normal operating temperature is -10 to 70°C.
