Industrial Power over Ethernet (PoE) networks require equipment that can handle heavy data loads reliably and efficiently. These requirements lead to a PoE implementation deploying Antaira Technology’s LMP-1202M-SFP. This single managed Ethernet switch simultaneously supports 8 Fast PoE ports, 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports, and 2 fiber optic SFP connections. Compliant to the IEEE 802.3at/af specification, each PoE+ port delivers up to 30 watts to power devices like IP cameras and wireless access points. These hardware features and Layer 2 software is integrated into an easy-to-deploy, rugged DIN-rail mount enclosure.
As a complete Layer 2 switch, the LMP-1202M-SFP offers protocols such as ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switch) redundancy, advanced network filtering, IGMP, VLAN, QoS, SNMP, port lock, RMON, ModbusTCP, HTTPS, SSH, SSL, and more. A web management console, alarming, watchdog timer, fault handling, security, and configuration backup are also standard features.
This managed switch is as reliable as it is capable. The rugged metal enclosure may be DIN-rail or wall mounted. If the standard wide operating temperature isn’t enough, an extended temperature model is available for extreme hot and cold locations. The low-voltage option allows installation in control cabinets where 12V or 24V power is available instead of 48V. Clean power is a concern in industrial environments. That’s why the internal circuitry accepts redundant power inputs and offers protection against voltage surges and over-current. The LMP-1202M-SFP meets industrial safety and electrical certifications and is backed by a 5-year warranty.
LMP-1202M-SFP, Standard operating temperature, -10 to 70°C
LMP-1202M-SFP-T, Extended operating temperature, -40 to 75°C
LMP-1202M-SFP-24, Standard operating temperature, -10 to 70°C, and 12 to 36 VDC input
LMP-1202M-SFP-24-T, Extended operating temperature, -40 to 75°C, and 12 to 36 VDC input
With a combination of port speeds and SFP slots, the LMP-1202M-SFP managed PoE switch fulfills a variety of industrial networking requirements. It was engineered to withstand the harsh conditions found in mining, utilities, public transportation, and remote surveillance. You can count on the LMX-1202M-SFP to operate reliably for the life of your project.
NOTE: The LMP-1202M-SFP is a firmware upgrade of the discontinued LMP-1002C-SFP.
