The APX-5700 brings power to any outdoor network. It features 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports for ultra-fast relaying. The 300 Mbps wireless operates on dual frequencies - 2.4 and 5 GHz. The 4 antennas and 2 independent radios give it extended range and flexibility. All of this stability is on a fully managed network with robust security options. Legacy devices can operate on WEP encryptions while anything more modern can utilize the improved security of WPA and WPA2 including all of their variant protocols. The APX-5700 series receives power though the reinforced Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection which conforms to the IEEE802.3af standard.
Of course, the problems of outdoor reliability extend beyond network protocols and security. That is where Antaira shines. The APX-5700 enclosure has an IP67 outdoor rating making it completely waterproof. And, it features a grounding terminal in the mounting bracket that may be tied to earth ground providing a certain measure protection from lighting. The APX-5700 can easily withstand temperatures from -20° to 70°C. The culmination of these features makes it as weather-resistant as possible, so you can have your access in even the worst conditions.
