The Taoglas MA460 (Storm) antenna is a low profile, heavy-duty, fully IP67 waterproof external M2M antenna for use in worldwide telematics applications which require best in class LTE, GNSS, and WiFi performance. The GPS/Glonass/Galileo/BeiDou active antenna has been carefully designed for excellent performance across all bands, leading to higher location accuracy and stability of tracking in urban environments. The MA460 delivers powerful worldwide 4G LTE MIMO antenna technology at 700/800/1700/1800/2600 MHz. The dual-band WiFi antenna allows for excellent performance at 2.4/5.8 GHz.
Typical applications for this antenna include: Internet of Things (IoT), Remote Asset and Pipeline Monitoring, HD Video over LTE, First Responder and Emergency Services, and Automotive Vehicle Tracking and Telematics. The MA460 does not require a ground plane. Low loss cables are used to keep efficiency high over long cable lengths.
