The SMWG-404 features 4 antenna elements in one radome. The Cellular element covers cellular bands from 800-1250 MHz & 1650-2700 MHz including the AWS band 1.7 & 2.1 GHz, as well as XLTE, LTE-A, LTE & 5G-ready 2.5 GHz. Two of the elements are typically used for WiFi MIMO (one is broadbanded). Other applications may require just one WiFi element leaving the additional antenna element available for other wireless applications such as Public Safety at 4.9 GHz, Military at 4.4 GHz or DSRC at 5.9 GHz. The fourth element covers GNSS at 1561, 1575, & 1602 MHz.
This antenna is popular for fleet management systems that require high speed data transmissions. It is enclosed in a weatherproof black or white radome, and supplied with all mounting hardware and a sealing gasket. It mounts easily to a roof, trunk or bulkhead.
