The CAN485 from 3onedata Company is an interface converter that implements a data exchange protocol between the CAN Bus network and an RS-485 device. It hosts one CAN Bus port and one RS-485 serial port with terminal block connectors. A DIP switch on the CAN485 selects the conversion mode. It supports multiple modes such as transparent conversion, marked transparent conversion, Modbus RTU protocol conversion, and data conversion. The easy-to-use CAN Bus configuration tools configure the data stream between the CAN bus and RS-485 serial port.
The CAN485 was built to operate without failure in some of the most unforgiving industrial settings. The device features a fanless metal case, low power consumption, wide temperature range, and robust voltage input design. It passed rigorous industrial safety and EMC tests, making it ideal for PLC control and management, building automation, instruments, and environmental monitoring systems.
