The Model485P from 3onedata is a single RS-232 to RS-485/422 bidirectional interface converter. The RS-485/422 port supports serial port self-adaption technology that identifies the RS-485/422 protocol automatically without needing to set a switch. The 1500 W surge protection on the serial ports, 15 kV electrostatic protection, and 2500V photoelectric isolation protection effectively mitigates current surges and lightning strikes.
The Model485P features a rugged, fanless enclosure with dual mounting brackets, allowing it to be secured in nearly any location. It offers low power consumption, a wide operating temperature range. Suited for indoor and outdoor applications, it’s ideal for converting serial lines found in guard stations, controls, parking lots, and security systems.
