The GW1101 from 3onedata Company is a Modbus gateway designed to convert Modbus RTU/ASCII and Modbus TCP protocols. It supports multiple network protocols such as Modbus, TCP, IP, UDP, TELNET, ARP, ICMP, HTTP, DNS, and DHCP plus complete management functions, access control, rapid configuration, remote upgrades. Select from RTU Master, RTU Slave, ASCII Master, ASCII Slave, and other operating modes. 32 TCP Slave requests under Master mode and 16 TCP Master connections under Slave mode are accommodated. The interface is simple and easy to operate. From a hardware perspective, it hosts a choice of one RS-232 or RS-485/422 port and a single Fast Ethernet port. The DIP switch on the side configures a variety of modes and defaults.
The GW1101 was designed to operate without failure in harsh, unforgiving industrial settings. The device features a fanless rugged case, flanges for wall mounting, low power consumption, wide operating temperature, and a voltage input circuitry. It exceeds rigorous industrial safety and EMC standards, making it perfect for use with PLCs, SCADA systems, control and automation systems, measuring instruments, and environmental monitoring systems.
