The Taoglas A.80 bolt screw-mount external GPS L1/L2 antenna is ideal for applications requiring highest accuracy centimeter-level positioning and covert installations. Its dual-pin, stacked patch structure allows for improved axial ratio bandwidth and is designed to support GPS L1 and L2 signals for improved positioning accuracy. It also supports the Glonass G1 and G2, Galileo G1 and BeiDou B1 and B2 bands. Low noise amplifiers in the front-end circuit ensure signal strength and can operate with an input voltage ranging from 1.8 to 5 volts.
This antenna features very high out of band rejection and can handle large bursts of power from nearby transmitters. These characteristics make the A.80 ideal for applications where the antenna will be placed near high-power transmitters, such as cellular base stations or radar systems. The A.80 utilizes a very high efficiency (>70%) patch antenna that has been tuned for best possible performance within the enclosure to maximize signal quality. The internal LNAs have very low noise figure to maintain excellent signal quality throughout the entire signal chain. The signal chain also features carefully selected and placed SAW filters that collectively allow for very sharp signal attenuation outside of the intended frequency bands without negatively impacting in-band signal quality.
This compact antenna has a low-profile, robust vandal-resistant design, and an IP67 waterproof ASA enclosure. Suitable for agritech, autonomous routing, and telematics applications, the A.80 comes with 1m RG-174 cable and an SMA (M) connector.
