The rugged and low-powered AirLink RV50X cellular router connects critical assets to wireless infrastructure. It’s perfect for energy, utilities, and smart-city applications, and it can provide real-time remote connectivity for SCADA, meters, and distributed management systems. The RV50X includes antenna connections for two LTE (Main and Aux) and GPS.

Supporting an extensive range of global 4G LTE bands, the RV50X delivers Cat 6 speed of 300 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink. It also provides a fallback to 2G and 3G networks, too. One popular 3-in-1 antenna is the Semtech shark fin style 6001119 antenna. The aerodynamic dome houses three omnidirectional antenna elements – 2x2 MIMO cellular and GPS – and is designed for public transportation, emergency vehicles, truck fleets, and other mobile operations.

For stationary locations, a high-gain directional antenna like the 6001126 offers 6 dBi gain at 698-960 MHz and 9 dBi gain at 1710-2700 MHz. Thus, it provides an excellent signal boost in remote and poor coverage areas, and the rugged, weather-resistant housing may be mounted outdoors on a wall or pole.
