The ProBee-ZU10-G01, USB to ZigBee adapter, includes a ZigBee core, radio circuitry, stub antenna, and ProBee management software. It is a simple, economical method for wirelessly transmitting data. Engineered for low cost and low power, it offers high performance and reliable data throughput for a wide range of industrial wireless applications. It is perfect for building automation, smart energy, health care devices, meters and instrumentation, intelligent appliances, lighting control, HVAC and security systems.
Fully certified under the latest ZigBee Alliance standards, the ZU10 is compatible with other ZigBee devices. With outdoor line-of-sight and the optional 5 dBi dipole antenna, it can transfer data at 250 kbps for a distance of 1.6 km (1 mile). It supports multiple data transmission and retransmission methods and for enhanced reliability. The ZU10 accepts power from a standard USB 2.0 port. The Zigbee ZU10 may be configured and managed from the Windows-based ProBee Manager or AT command set.
The ProBee Manager for the ZU10 is a Windows-based toolset that can read and write configuration values of your local and remote nodes. Use it to export configuration settings from the current node and import them to other nodes, restore factory default settings, upgrade node firmware and copy local node firmware to other nodes.
