The EPX-M8 is one of the industry’s highest-performing SD-WAN platforms. The Peplink EPX is a rapidly deployable, powerful, and versatile SD-WAN router that connects a wide range of WAN options from LTE-A, satellite modems, to fixed-line networks. At a 19″ 2U rack-mountable form factor, it can combine up to 18x LTE-A connections for absolute connection reliability. The Peplink EPX-M8 supports a FlexModule, enabling you to customize the platform with your choice of ports, as well as instantly apply new technology as it is released and available.
In its cellular configuration, the Peplink EPX is a powerful wireless SD-WAN router. It can combine the bandwidth of up to 18 connections, supporting 36 SIM cards and providing gigabits of bandwidth on-the-go. It is suitable for a wide variety of deployments such as: Mobile Headquarters, a Base Station connection, Regional Headquarters, and Work Sites. Based on different types of FlexModules, the EPX can connect to the Internet through 5G modems, LTE modems, GE WAN ports, and SFP+ WAN ports with eight FlexModule slots. In an enterprise or campus network, the distance between each building and department is often longer than 100m. Using fiber can give you a longer transmission distance from point to point, which is something a copper cable cannot handle, not to mention the connection may be more reliable and safer, due to its properties.
The OLED control panel gives the ability to check the status of the EPX, including the status of WAN links, LAN links, and the SpeedFusion tunnels. It can also boot to the alternative firmware at boot time.
The EPX-M8 has a Stateful Firewall Throughput of 30Gbps. The SpeedFusion VPN Throughput with no encryption is 4Gbps, and the SpeedFusion VPN Throughput with AES-256 encryption is 2Gbps.
This product comes with a one-year limited warranty. It can be extended with the purchase of EssentialCare/EssentialCare+. EssentialCare includes InControl, warranty with standard RMA, firmware updates, and technical support. Compare the Peplink Care Plans and select one that fits you and your deployment needs.
