It consists of 4x4 MIMO 4G cellular, 2x2 MIMO WiFi, and GPS antennas packed into a ruggedized, surface-mount radome. This 7-in-1 multi-antenna operates in the 617 to 3800 MHz cellular frequency range and works with the latest mobile cellular routers and modems. The LTE elements are designed for 4x4 MIMO operation, but they may be split into two pairs of 2x2 MIMO for routers with two SIM cards. This configuration is for failover purposes where one SIM card is active at any time. (Note: because of insufficient isolation between MIMO pairs, it is not intended to operate with concurrent SIM cards or aggregated data operations.)

The aerodynamic dome is IP69K certified and protects against water and dust ingress. It’s designed to handle shock, vibration, weather, and extreme temperatures. The LGMDM4-7-38-24-58 is ground plane independent allowing it to mount on nearly any surface - conductive or non-conductive. The antenna assembly fastens to the tops of vehicles or cabinets through a single mounting hole. The RF cables pass inside the hollow threaded bolt for protection and a clean installation. The radome includes seven 1-foot RG174 low-loss cables, which are ECE118.01 compliant. The LGMDM4-7-38-24-58 antenna is a workhorse offering reliability and tireless operation. The antenna includes 1-foot RF cables; however, this length is often too short for most installations, particularly vehicles.
