The Panorama VCD family of covert dipole antennas are designed to be mounted to a vehicle bumper, fender, plastic surface, or hidden area where an antenna’s presence must be undetectable. It offers excellent performance at several VHF or UHF frequencies. Or it may be tuned (by cutting down the radiating elements) on the vehicle or at the installation location. Tuning ensures that a good VSWR match can be achieved in the installed location [the bandwidth will be approximately 8% of center frequency). Two VCD antennas may be placed in a vehicle with an HPDPD power divider to achieve additional omnidirectional coverage.
