Mobile Mark YAG12-5500 Directional Yagi Antenna for WiFi, 4.4 to 6.0 GHz, 12 dBi Maximum Gain
The YAG12-5500 from Mobile Mark is a rugged and reliable Yagi antenna built for 4.4 to 6.0 GHz wireless networks requiring high directional gain. Common uses for this antenna include 5 GHz WiFi, military radios on 4.4 GHz, DSRC at 5.9 GHz, and Public Safety at 4.9 GHz. It offers 10 dBi gain in the 4.4 to 5.4 GHz range and 12 dBi gain from 5.47 to 6.0 GHz. The YAG12-5500 is very effective for mesh systems, point-to-point, and point-to-multi-point. ISP and service providers install these antennas in short-range backhaul applications and to provide coverage in hard to reach areas such as a building corridor.
Although the YAG12-5500 antenna is frequently used in indoor settings, it’s engineered for harsh industrial and outdoor conditions. The radome is constructed from UV protected ASA material, which resists discoloration after years of direct sunlight. The antenna is compact and unobtrusive, blending in with building infrastructure. It may be mounted to a pole or wall. The adjustable mount with a 45-degree vertical and horizontal range can direct the beam precisely to its target.
