The SM-1575 is a compact, surface-mount antenna for vehicles, trucks, and vans. It uses a 5/8” feed thru (1.6 cm) for securing to the vehicle. Access to the underside of the body surface is required to complete the installation. The GPS model operates at 1575 MHz.
The antenna offers 26 dB with 5 dBi antenna gain. The internal circuitry has low 2.0 dB maximum noise with excellent filter characteristics. Power (2.7 to 5 VDC) and signal are applied through the cabling directly to the antenna. These antennas are enclosed in a weatherproof ASA radome measuring 2.5” (6.4 cm) in diameter.
