The ECOM9-5900 antenna operates on the DSRC 5.9 GHz frequency band and is ideal for ITS trials. It operates on the DSRC 5.9 GHz frequency band at 9 dBi gain and is ideal for ITS trials. This antenna is a free space design and ground plane independent. It can be mounted on any surface.
It uses low loss -195 cable to improve efficiency. The vertical radomes are black fiberglass with an ASA base assembly and is weatherproof.
This antenna has a 2.6" (66 mm) diameter base and uses a strong commercial magnet. A scratch resistant covering is provided on the bottom of the antenna to protect the vehicle. It comes with 10 feet (3 m) of cable and an SMA plug (male) connector.
