The ECO6-5900 antenna is designed for all new data and broadband systems, including DSRC (Dedicated Short Range Communications) systems at 5.9 - 6.0 GHz and 6dBi gain. This antenna can be used for a variety of wireless applications that fall under the ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) umbrella including smart highways, collision avoidance and tolling.
The ECO6-5900 is a free space antenna so no ground plane is required. The antenna element has a fiberglass radome and the weatherproof durable design makes it a good option for both indoors and outdoors.
It terminates with an integrated N-female connector perfect for Broadband Systems. For direct male N mounting, option “RN” can be chosen. “RN” does not include mounting hardware. It is available in black or white.
