The SMWG-306 antenna accommodates higher frequency applications. Bandwidth coverage is 2.4-2.5 GHz on the first element, 3.0-6.0 GHz on the second element and GNSS on the third. This antenna could be used for Public Safety applcations with wireless video at 2.4 GHz and Mesh Networking at 4.9 GHz. It could also be used for Smart Highway applications with WiFi at 2.4 GHz and DSRC at 5.9 GHz, or for Military applications that combine WiFi 2.4 GHz with the Military 4.4 GHz band.
The SMWG-306 mounts easily to vehicle, cargo container or trailer. The antenna is enclosed in a 4.2”D x 3.2”H (10.7 cm x 8.1 cm) weatherproof radome, and supplied with all mounting hardware and a sealing gasket. The stud mount design uses a 3/4" feed thru (19mm) for securing to the vehicle. It is extremely weather resistant and rated IP67 for water ingress. The data cables are 15 feet of low-loss RF-195 (4.5 meters). The GNSS cable is 15 feet of RG-174.
