The PR-LTMG508 (5G Passenger Rail NFPA 130) is a 5-cable antenna covering Sub-6 and is 5G Ready. It is backward compatible with 4G LTE. This antenna has 2 cellular elements, 2 WiFi 6 elements, and 1 GNSS element. With 5-elements, it provides a good match for the dual-carrier modems. There are two pairs of cellular MIMO elements, one pair for each carrier for the PR-LTMG508. The MIMO WiFi 6 elements provide faster throughput for the advanced WiFi processors.
Common applications for this antenna include: Passenger Rail, Installations Requiring EN 50155 (environmental) and NFPA-130 (fire safety) Compliance, Vehicle Fleet Management, Advanced Multiband Modems, and Public Transportation.
The PR-LTMG508 covers all Global Cellular & LTE frequencies and is also Private LTE and 5-G ready. Specifically, the cellular elements cover 617-960 & 1710-6000 MHz. The WiFi 6 elements cover 2.4 - 2.5 GHz and 4.9 - 6.0 GHz.
The antenna measures 5.5″ (140 mm) in diameter with a low profile of 2.38″ (60.4 mm). It takes up significantly less space than multiple antennas. If rail industry or fire safety standards are not required see the LTMG508 antenna.
