The L-6041B is designed to protect the communication in both IT and OT domains. The L-6041B is empowered by Intel Atom x7-E3950 for low power consumption and high processing performance. As a rugged firewall deployed in challenging environments, the L-6041B comes with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 certifications, as well as 1.5 kV magnetic isolation protection for the LAN port and 15 kV ESD Protection for I/O ports. The system can operate in a wide range of temperatures from -40°C to 70°C. All of the hardware designs ensure that the security gateway L-6041B will never experience downtime while operating in hazardous environments, such as an Operational Technology (OT) environment.
Security is always a priority when building an open networking platform. This whitebox platform is protected with firmware/BIOS-based security features, offering integrated crypto keys, BIOS authentication, and firmware security vulnerability testing to enable WAN efficiency without compromising on security.
