Ericsson Cradlepoint AER1650 Router (no Wi-Fi) with Cat 4/Cat 6 Modem & NetCloud Management

The AER1650 advanced LTE edge router from Ericsson Cradlepoint, together with their NetCloud Branch Essentials cloud management package, offers enterprise-class LTE communication to small and mid-sized businesses. It’s suited for branch offices, pop-up stores, retailers, and kiosks. These types of businesses rely on the AER1650 NetCloud branch solution to provide dependable, around-the-clock performance to fulfill critical communication demands.

The AER1650 offers flexible 4G LTE deployment options. It comes equipped with an embedded Cat 4 (150 Mbps) or Cat 6 (300 Mbps) Advanced Pro LTE modem. It may be upgraded to Cat 18 Gigabit-Class speeds (1200 Mbps) with the installation of an MC400 Advanced Pro modem. The AER1650 accommodates two modems. A second modem offers a continuous connection, failover, and support for two wireless carriers. The router also includes 2x2 MIMO antennas, 5 Gigabit LAN and WAN ports, and active GPS.  The AER1650 does not include Wi-Fi.  If Wi-Fi is required, see the AER1600. router.

NetCloud Branch Package

The NetCloud Branch Essentials package boosts productivity, management, and security. It is a cloud service platform that remotely administers the AER1650, making wireless networking a breeze. From a secure web browser, you can monitor, control, and troubleshoot your network and attached routers. NetCloud provides routing functions, security, and control of the cellular interface. It significantly simplifies branch networking, providing “zero-touch” deployment. And, it maximizes your LTE connection for high-performance communication.

The AER1650 is sold in a complete NetCloud Solution Package for Branch Networks and includes cloud management, 24x7 support, and a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the hardware. Choose from one, three, or five-year subscription plans. The NetCloud Advanced option adds features such as data traffic analytics, firewall, and URL content filtering.
