The DWM-314-GP is a versatile 5G Rugged PoE Modem/Gateway designed to support high-speed, low-latency connectivity across evolving network environments. With dual SIM slots and failover support, it offers added resilience in case of a network issue. Its plug-and-play design helps streamline installation, making it a strong option for smart city applications like smart poles, traffic monitoring, digital signage, and environmental sensing.

Built to adapt, the modem can switch between 4G and 5G connections as needed, helping maintain consistent connectivity when conditions change. By enabling timely data transmission for local alerts, services, and advertising, the DWM-314-GP supports more dynamic and responsive community infrastructure.

The DWM-314-GP features a built-in 4-port Gigabit switch and supports 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet (PoE+) to deliver both data and power over Ethernet cables. As a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) solution, it can streamline M2M communication for IoT applications by reducing the need for separate electrical infrastructure and potentially lowering the cost of adding extra PoE switches. Well-suited for powering devices like surveillance cameras, digital signage, wireless access points, and IoT sensors, it offers more flexible device placement without the constraints of traditional wiring. Its PD-Alive feature is designed to detect and recover unresponsive powered devices, while PoE scheduling provides a way to manage energy use more efficiently.

The industrial-grade casing provides reliable high-speed connectivity in extreme conditions. The corrosion-resistant zinc-plated steel case with wide operating temperature range and humidity tolerance means that the DWM-314-GP is ready for the most demanding M2M applications in virtually any environment.
