Approved High-Performance Antennas for the CBA850 Branch Routers

The Ericsson Cradlepoint CBA850 cellular router provides reliable communications for enterprise, branch, and business networks. It features Gigabit-Class LTE throughput along with GPS. There are two CBA850 models with different antenna designs:

To maximize the CBA850’s wireless performance, we offer Ericsson Cradlepoint-approved multi-antennas. A multi-antenna, also called a combination antenna, is a single radome with several integrated antenna elements. For example, a multi-antenna with five elements (four cellular and GPS) is a typical configuration.

CBA850 with the MC400 Modem

Starting with the CBA850-1200M, you’ll get 4x4 MIMO LTE at Gigabit-Class LTE speed and GPS. This model requires five antennas and may be paired with a single 5-in1 omnidirectional Husky PRO5H or the directional WMM4G-6-60. The CBA850 with the MC400LP6 modem delivers Cat 6 performance over 2x2 MIMO LTE antennas. This configuration would need a 3-in-1 multi-antenna.

Our antenna solutions include a set of low-loss cables in several meter lengths, so you can locate the antennas where you need them for the best signal reception. Mounting brackets and magnetic bases are available to secure the antenna high on a pole or wall. Select from directional or omnidirectional and gain patterns. Designed by top-tier manufacturers, many are IP7-rated and built to withstand extreme environments so you can safely mount the antenna outside. All are Ericsson Cradlepoint-approved for the CBA850 router.
