There are a lot of keyboard/video/mouse switches out there that you can use to control a few PCs with a single monitor, keyboard, and mouse. But a lot of them are almost as bulky as one of the monitors they’re replacing. And quite a few of them are way more complicated than most people need or want. Take a look at the ServSwitch Simplicity SW612A. This compact, 4-port KVM switch is the ideal way to control your PS/2 CPUs easily and economically. The Simplicity is dependable - and it doesn't skimp on performance. It supports video resolutions up to 1024 x 768, and it's interface powered, which means you don't need a bulky external power supply.

Setup is a snap. Just plug in your monitor, keyboard, and mouse and attach your CPUs using Coax CPU Cables. There's no software to install and there's no board to configure.

The SW612A features a full keyboard and mouse emulation, so the switch continuously sends CPUs the keyboard and mouse signals they expect. That way, you don't have to worry about emulation-related CPU lockup. In addition, the Simplicity supports PS/2 mice and a variety of wheel mice, including Microsoft® IntelliMouse®, and Logitech™ MouseMan®.

The SW612A is housed in a small, yet rugged metal chassis. You can switch between CPUs via a push-button or hotkey sequence. The Simplicity also supports Scan Mode, so you can alternately view the video signals of the attached CPUs at three-second intervals.
