Black Box SW1047A Remotely Controlled Layer 1 A/B Switch, DB9

The Black Box SW1047A is a basic DB9 A/B Layer 1 switch which provides basic A/B switch functionality, which is to connect port A or port B to the C (Common) port, through non-latching relays switch mechanisms. The switch will revert to the port C to port A connection state when power is lost, and will remain in that state when power is restored until a new switch command is received.

Manual control of the switch port connection state is supported through pushbutton switches on the front of the unit. A 6 position terminal strip on the rear of the unit provides remote control capability and accepts external dry contact closures as inputs for remote A/B switching.
