Axiomtek has answered the heavy-duty demands of industrial computing solutions with the capable, rugged, and efficient GOT3156T-834 Human Machine Interface (HMI). It brings energy efficient computing in a heavy-duty package. Thanks to the panel PC's fanless design, it can shrug off extreme temperatures as low as -20°C and as high as 55°C. This embedded computer can get the best of high-moisture conditions as well, working in 20 percent to 90 percent humidity levels at 40°C. It is also IP65 certified, meaning that both solid debris and liquids will stay out, away from sensitive components. This device is an ideal solution for intelligent transportation, smart factory automation, oil and gas pipe monitoring, and other heavy-duty industry implementations.
The Axiomtek GOT3156T differentiates itself from its panel PC peers by offering extensive expandability options in a compact package. On the outside, this HMI sports four RS-232/422/485 COM ports, two high-speed USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. On the inside, it offers dual PCI express mini card slots and support for up to 8 GB of fast DR3L-1333/1600 memory. These features give it capabilities to adapt to new needs and run larger or more applications. This touch panel also offers optional WLAN/3G networking capabilities, which can help in a pinch if it needs to be installed in a place where wired network connections can't easily reach.
Over time, high-vibration environments can cause parts of a computer to come loose. This will cause the system to stop functioning and create downtime for your operation. When properly configured, the GOT3156T can increase vibration resistance and eliminate all moving parts by replacing the hard disk drive with a flash-based storage solution including CFast CompactFlash memory and mSATA-based solid state drives. With a standard HDD, the panel PC can withstand up to 1.3G of vibration between 10 and 500Hz, while using solutions like CFast storage improves the resistance to 2G.
