When you need the best in ingress protection, waterproofing, weatherproofing, and shock absorption, without sacrificing performance, you can look to Axiomtek’s eBOX800-511-FL.
This embedded PC operates in the worst working conditions. With an IP67 rating, you can’t find better ingress protection. The aluminum diecast and heavy-duty steel enclosure provide incredible protection from shock, impact, and the elements. The computer is rated for temperature extremes that are difficult to exceed almost anywhere on earth (-30° to 60°C). The lockable M12 connectors ensure that I/O ports aren’t a weak point in the system. The computer is still DIN-rail mountable, meaning it is just as comfortable in a networking closet as functioning in an outdoor cabinet.
None of this durability comes at the cost of computational power. The eBOX800-511 may be outfitted with an Intel Core i5-7300U or a Celeron 3965U processor. It supports up to 16 GB of memory, and it has a 2.5” HDD bay and an optional mSATA slot. Two PCI Express Mini Card slots allow you to expand the computer with Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, and other interfaces as needed. As a final note of protection for the eBOX800, it also supports TPM 1.2.
