AxiomTek tBOX320-852-FL Fanless Railway Rated Computer with Intel Core 2 Duo or Celeron CPU and Intel GM45

The tBOX320-852 from Axiomtek is a fanless embedded computer featuring a high performance Intel Core 2 Duo SP9300 CPU (2.26 GHz) or Celeron M723 (1.2 GHz), Intel GM45 Express chipset and 2 GB of on-board system memory. The processor and memory are soldered down to greatly reduce the impact of vibration and shock common in transportation applications. Built for tough working environments, the outstanding industrial design offers the advantages of fanless operation and rugged form factor.  It’s ideal for modern transportation applications such as fleet management, highway signage, railway systems, train monitoring and toll booths.

A dust‐proof, aluminum enclosure is engineered to withstand harsh environments and temperatures ranging from ‐25° to +55°C.  For system reliability, screw-down connectors and lockable M12 connectors keep the dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and serial I/O cables tightly secured.   The compact tBOX320 computer offers excellent power protection against electro static discharge (ESD) and over‐voltage.  It is equipped with 4 isolated RS‐232/422/485 ports and 1 isolated digital I/O connector along with dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and dual video ports.  An integrated graphics chipset supports 256MB of memory, DirectX 9 3D and HDTV.  Integrated MPEG2 and H.264 decoders reduce processor load when displaying HD video.

For data storage, the system hosts 2 swappable 2.5" SATA 300 hard drive bays and a slot for Compact Flash media.  All are easily accessible from the front.  For greater expansion capability, 2 internal PCI Express Mini Card slots and a SIM slot are available for 2G/3G/4G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth modules.
