Axiomtek’s rBOX120-2COM fanless, embedded field controller supports an extra low power Intel Atom Z510PT or Z520PT processor with 2GB of memory.  Built tough for industrial locations, it operates in extreme temperature ranges and offers protection from voltage surges, current spikes and electrical noise.  The rBOX120-2COM is equipped with a full complement of I/O - 2 isolated RS-232/422/485 serial ports, 3 isolated Gigabit Ethernet ports, 16 digital channels, 2 USB and VGA.  Plus, it will accommodate 2 wireless interfaces (3G, GPRS and Wi-Fi).  Abundant storage on a 2.5” drive, CompactFlash and SD card is standard (drives and memory modules are sold separately).

To minimize data loss, the rBOX120 features dual redundant power inputs so operation is maintained if the primary power source fails. In addition, a RTC battery and dual watchdog timers help detect and recover from malfunctions.  It’s also certified to Safety and Electromagnetic interference (EMI) standards.

The rBOX120-2COM supports SNMP V1/V2c and AXView software packages.  AXView is a remote management and monitoring software tool designed for Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine to Machine (M2M) applications.  Not only is it heavy-duty and reliable, it’s surprisingly affordable.  The rBOX120-2COM is a total industrial computer, and you can count on it in critical applications such as power plants, factory automation, facility monitoring, intelligent transportation and security.
